The worldwide recognition and protection of human rights is a process that began in the twentieth century, when many of these rights were already guaranteed at the constitutional level, at least in some states. Since then, the human rights regulatory framework built by the international community has achieved a solid legal basis that is widely developed with fundamental universal legal norms.

Un accord vient d'être convenu entre Microsoft et le gouvernement français posant de sérieux problèmes de discrimination et de droit au respect des données privées. De plus, cet accord n'a pas été réalisé avec les acteurs de l'éducation.

AFRICA: Survey findings on human rights awareness among children

This report is the outcome on questionnaires prepared for a study on the rights of children.

On July 6, 2015, the interns from the University of Ghana (UG-Legon) at the Young Heart Foundation (YHF) together with our supervisor, Mr. John Atopi Thompson (Coordinator-YHF) conducted a survey on issues related to Human Rights with key interest on the rights of children. The survey targeted children between the ages of 8-16 years. The survey lasted for four (4) days.
