Проблема трудовой миграции остро строит в Молдове. По неофициальным данным, почти шестьсот тысяч молдавских граждан работают за границей. При этом на учете в социальных службах Молдовы состоят пять тысяч детей из Молдовы. Половина из них оставлена родителями без оформления соответствующих документов, что говорит о низкой ответственности взрослых перед своими детьми, заявила корреспонденту Sputnik народный адвокат по правам ребенка Майя Бэнэреску.

По словам собеседницы, долгая разлука с родителями, которые находятся на заработках, делает психику несовершеннолетних неустойчивой.
